Shanshan has been living in Beijing, Sydney, and currently in Singapore after deciding to start-up her own design studio - Coral Living. She has over 3 years of design experience, exercising her knowledge and designing with great passion; aspired to create homes as colorful and strong as corals, which offers people’s new lifestyle, evoke emotions, memory and inspirations.

Allyson is a graphic designer, illustrator and painter from Malaysia, based in Singapore. Her work combines traditional painting, mixed media & collage with contemporary techniques to create a unique and imaginary visual language.
Perfect Weather is a humble illustration studio crafted by her, where she also ventures into graphic designing and branding services. She is not limiting herself to any one type of project, she takes on a variety of work and welcomes individual requests for bespoke artwork as well as children’s picture books and commercial illustration.
She hopes to bring a piece of her Perfect Weather to the people who enjoy her work as much as she is crafting them.

It was such a great experience for our founders to know Sandra, at her restaurant bar – Sum Yi Tai.  Not only that the chemistry they have that instantly made them friends, it led to a collaboration of music concept being implemented at Mona Lounge mid 2019. Sandra has 16 years of F&B leadership experience, having owned and managed restaurants in Shanghai before, she returned home to assume the role of Managing Director of Sauce Bar, under The Butter Factory Group.  A graphic designer by training from RMIT, Melbourne, Sandra has been behind the branding design for international brands such as Swarovski, Intel, Four Seasons Hong Kong, Reebok China & Baby Bjorn. Sandra’s penchant for design, style & details see her responsible for all of Coterie Concept’s visual branding & interior design.  Sandra is also a keen chef, with an expertise in managing professional kitchens; Coterie Concepts’ bars are the product of her creative vision & operational experience.

Both Twinkle and Frank were introduced to each other by a common friend, who highly recognised the two being creative, passionate and design driven.  From the first meeting, Frank strongly sensed the opportunity of working together on art collaboration.  Twinkle brings her namesake into her work, ensuring that every piece does not go without a sparkle or shine.  Her career began with genuine desire to paint ‘portraits’ of her clients’ beloved luxury watches.  Composing them onto gold leaf backgrounds awakened her to a preoccupation for all things shiny, and her journey down the glitter-filled rabbit hole eventually led her to producing resin art with crystals. Today, signature elements of her work include gold leaf, glitter, and metallic pigments. Twinkle’s background in construction also gives her a unique edge to her production, and she does not shy away from experimenting with the use of building material in her work. In fact, expect her to be completely unafraid to experiment with anything at all.

Jo used to fly for Singapore Airlines for 13 years, and she developed the interest to shoot, capturing moments during her flying days. One fine day, she found herself hoping to know more about wedding photography; and that led to the beginning of freelance photography while juggling her flights. After doing that for two years, she decided to turn full time in 2017. Though Frank saw Jo at Crystal Yeap’s wedding (one of our Creativians as well) back in 2018, she was only being introduced and recommended by Crystal to Frank, since Jo expressed the interest to explore further, other than wedding photography. This matches well at the right time, with the right frame of mind, and the trust to take on any photography work together. It was a great experience working on our Creativians’ profile picture shooting, professional, fast and precise, checking in to every detail; our synergy promises great outcome.

Known to our founders as young and creative, likeable by most of his seniors within the industry (corporate interior design), an up and coming designer; YJ already has a few collaboration with our founders.  From personal and social setting, he is naturally popular within the crowd, a young brother whom own this attention through his easy-going attitude and fashionable image.  Speaking of the latter, he is one of the very few designers who dress as one, personal style that clearly project his passion in anything design.

From Sydney, Australia, Lillian is an interior designer who graduated from University of New South Wale.She got to know Frank during an occasion of a bar soft-opening; their language, Cantonese instantly connected both creative souls as if old friends meeting up.
Set foot in Singapore in 2017, the journey of working as a designer soon turned into founding her own studio, together with Arwa. Besides work, Lillian enjoys cooking and canvas painting.

Creative Director with over 20 years of experience in developing digital presence and brand development for companies in China and Singapore industries. Has the ability to simplify and communicate complex information.
Eugene and our founders met through a common friend, though a casual occasion, the respect towards Eugene built up over period; knowing his epxerience and years spent in China, his expertise and being self-employed back in Singapore.  Like other Creativians, our relationship is built upon friendship, recognition and mutual trust; therefore, the chemistry of working together.

Cheerful, relax and positive, chatting with Crystal always turn out to be an encouraging session, that is what our founders feel.  Crystal has been VM for more than 10 years with Club 21, subsequently Bottega Veneta in Singapore, in between spent a year of her career in Hong Kong.  Recently, she embarks on a new endevor as a project manager for a tech solution company, exploring not just the job, but very much herself, her potential and abilities.  She personally started @slowlivecreate, floral painting using iPad which instantly captured Frank’s attention and commissioned her for a series of painting.  Anchoring their same beliefs and passion, Crystal is certainly a good example of what CU is looking at, for a creativian.

Kok, as we all call him; an ex-colleague, good friend, and business partner for 15 years. It has been a great journey, and very fruitful working together.  Kok and his team are most supportive in making all of our design proposals possible with 3D visualization. Humble, flexible and assuring, Kok also constantly review his quality of work, speed and accuracy.  He also initiates some breakthrough method of VR, and walkthrough, seeking ways to achieve the effect in the shortest time possible .  The sense of respect and appreciation mutually is strong, which are the most important elements for elements for a good long term relationship.

The most creative person with hands-on skills in making product by himself, Frank met Kevin back in 2010, at an event in HK, Frank was fascinated by one of his products - the Boombottle. Frank brought home more than a product, it’s friendhsip, and source of inspiration.  Kevin is an environment activist, walk the talk and lives his live carbon free.  He cycles, avoid plastics; and impressively, a self employed upcycled-products designer.  In 2013, Frank self-initiatied and curated an upcycling event, collaborated with Kevin to design an upcycling piece – Boomtable.  Every piece of Kevin’s work is creative, turning trash to treasure; he is an aspiration.
