FRANK CHEN
FOUNDER
From his first start-up in 2008 – F2D was a small studio focused in office design and build, and extended its expertise to Bangkok, Manila, Hong Kong and Beijing. In 2012, Frank co-founded Kelvin & Frank Reid, actively involved in design, operation and hiring; also, initiated The Design Journey in 2018, a bi-monthly talk session that brought the community together. There were also events that he organised and curated by collaboration, based on different themes with designers/ artists in the region.
Driven by creativity, fuelled by passion, he continues to seek for new breakthroughs, and Creative United is the latest. Anchored on respect, propelled by trust; Frank focuses on the synergy that produces guaranteed results.
KELVIN CHIANG
FOUNDERCo-founder of Kelvin and Frank Reid. Believes in design has no segregation and can be multidisciplinary. Believes in reinventing the wheel to create new. Believes in learning 10,000 things one lifetime rather then learning one thing 10,000 times. Believes in starting off as underdog will naturally work harder and eventually outperform. Believes in harmony, making competitor friends not foes.
Do not believe that multiple attempts will still lead to failure. Do not believe that thinking vigorously will lead to no solutions. Do not believe that academic will limit you to places and cast a single path future. Do not believe that good things will simply land on your laps without working on it. Do not believe in luck.
